Summary: A must for new moms & new babies! 2008-11-14
Comment: I bought this blanket for myself when I was pregnant with my son, because I liked the tag on the side that showed how to swaddle. We used it so much when he was an infant, that I had to buy another just so I would always have a clean one handy! Not only is it great for swaddling, but it's a nice large size for covering up if you have to nurse your baby in an environment where other people are around. These blankets get softer with each washing, which is another plus! This is now my signature gift to new moms...I just bought 5 for all of the new babies in our family!

Summary: best blanket ever 2008-09-14
Comment: our son loved being swaddled, but he quickly grew out of the standard receving blankets. This blanket is way too big for a newborn, but plenty big enough for 3 months, maybe even 4. Very soft, thick fabric. The other thing I like about this blanket is the pattern; not overly "baby" if you get my drift.

Comment: I wish they made these in adult sizes. These blankets are soft, beautiful, and very easy to use. I will be keeping these handy in a variety of colors to give as baby shower gifts. What a great product!

Comment: I received many blankets as gifts for both of my children, but this blanket has stood the test of time. It's size is great for a variety of purposes, and I truly can get a tight swaddle with my son. Smaller blankets do not work as well on my larger-than-average infant. I highly recommend this blanket for swaddling, or many other uses!

Comment: This is a nice big blanket that can have many uses but as a swaddle I find it difficult because it is so big....and I find other blankets too small so maybe I am just not a good swaddler. Our son can easily get out of this swaddle no matter how tight I attempt to make it. I prefer the kiddopotamus swaddle that velcros....he hasn't gotten out of it yet and that gives me peace of mind at night. These blankets are very cute though and I will use them for other purposes.
