Summary: Soft and Durable - My Blankee Totally Wins 2008-02-20
Comment: My two year old has carried his "blankee" around practically since birth. It is one of the softest things I have ever felt, yet surprisingly durable. It's been dragged through everything from dirt to ice melt crystals, it's been stepped on, it's survived the occasional unfortunate diaper incident. Subsequently,it's been washed about 100 times -- and it's still as soft and a green as it was the day he received it.
And I actually can't emphasize enough how soft this thing is. It is unmatched by any blanket we've ever found...it's like a cloud. When I put the little dude to bed at night, he bunches it up into a sort of pillow and buries his face in it. I get a little jealous. I might order one for myself.
While I don't recommend getting your child hooked on a security blanket (and if you do, trust me, *NEVER* accidentally leave it at daycare!) as blankets go, this one's a total winner.Double Sided Velour Blanket Small
