Comment: My baby loves this blanket. It is soothing for sleep time and seems to make teething go smoother. The big taggie is a great size but I wish I had bought one of each so we had one to keep in the diaper bag.

Comment: My son LOVES his taggies blanket! He plays with it all day long and it helps him self-soothe himself to sleep when he wakes up during the night. The previous post said that her daughter almost suffocated with it, but this could happen with any blanket. That's why you don't give a blanket to baby who can't yet pull things off of his/her face and then walk away and leave the child alone. The incident isn't product specific. You don't put a baby a loose blanket to sleep with for the same reason, so obviously you wouldn't leave that baby alone while he/she was playing with a blanket.

Comment: I BOUGHT THIS ITEM B/C BABIES DO LOVE THE TAGS ON THINGS BUT THIS EVENING MY 4 MONTH OLD ALMOST SUFFOCATED BECAUSE OF IT! I LOOKED OVER TO HER SITTING ON THE HER BOUNCY SEAT TO FIND THE 12 X 12 BLANKET COMPLETELY OVER HER FACE AND HEARD HER GASPING FOR AIR! I RUSHED OVER TO HER AND THANK GOD SHE WAS AND IS OK! I JUST WENT ON THE TAGGIES WEBSITE TO FIND THE BLANKET IS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL AGES AND IS APPROVED BY JMPA, TIA AND ICPHSO. I AM SURE MY BABY IS NOT THE FIRST TO HAVE THIS HAPPEN AND I WOULD THINK TWICE ABOUT BUYING THIS ITEM FOR A BABY DESPITE IT BEING RECOMMENDED FOR ALL AGES. THIS ALSO GOES TO SHOW THAT EVEN THOUGH AN ITEM IS APPROVED BY VARIOUS SAFETY ORGANIZATIONS, THAT MAY NOT MEAN THE ITEM IS IN FACT SAFE.
